Rinus Van de Velde became known for his monumental charcoal drawings. His black-and-white drawings are often reminiscent of stills from film noir and are characterised by their cinematic quality, striking shading and great contrasts. This poster of untitled, 2012 by Rinus Van de Velde (1983) was made especially for his exhibition The Armchair Voyager - on view until 29 May 2023 - at Voorlinden.
